Your role
We are seeking a part-time Finance Intern to support our Head of Finance and Operations as we bring AI-powered breast cancer screening to women globally.
  • Financial Reporting: Identify strategic insights by preparing and analyzing financial reports (income statements, balance sheets and cash flow statements).
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and maintain budgets and financial forecasts to guide business planning, international expansion, and decision-making.
  • Financial Analysis: Craft budgets and forecasts that serve as our growth roadmap to success.
  • Audit Support: Coordinate with external auditors, ensuring our financial practices shine under scrutiny and comply with industry standards.
  • Vendor Management: Cultivate strong bonds with our suppliers and external accounting partners, fostering collaboration and efficiency, and actively supporting the bookkeeping process.
  • Improvements Implementation: Participate in initiatives such as system implementations or fine-tuning our processes.
  • Global Perspective: Embrace the diversity of our international team, navigating the intricacies of emerging markets and collaborating with colleagues from around the globe.
Your profile
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. MBA, Master in Management, Master in Finance, or CPA/ACCA designation is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Finance Manager or similar role, with a strong understanding of financial principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in financial software, such as DATEV, Excel, Spendesk and Agicap.
  • Analytical with excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and integrity.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Business-level fluency in English, German is a plus.
