You will be part of the growing sales and marketing team that enables Merantix Momentum to take clients to the next level. In particular you will be part of a sector specific team (pharma, industrials, public sector) where you will work together with a senior team of seasoned sales executives.

Your role

  • Expand your network in relevant public sector communities in Germany;

  • Work with public sector clients to determine value through AI for their organizations and get them excited about it;

  • Anticipate and qualify relevant opportunities and Requests for Proposal (RfPs);

  • Prepare offers going to comprehensive requirements in RFPs;

  • Pitch project proposals in front of key client stakeholders;

  • Close deals together with your sector team;

  • Take responsibility in growth across the team (e.g. market and competitive intelligence, curation of client-facing material).

Your profile

Required Skills:

  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills in German and English;

  • Strong understanding of the public sector in Germany;

  • Diligent screening and answering of public sector RfPs ;

  • Client relationship skills catering to multi-stakeholder setups with different attitudes and motivations;

  • Strong business acumen and capacity to sell;

  • Understanding of Tech and Data landscapes in public sector organization setups;

  • Understanding of Tech Project Management (Waterfall vs. Agile):

  • Knowledge of CRM Systems like Salesforce, Pipedrive or Hubspot;

  • Diligence in customer communication and documentation;

Relevant Experience

  • Extensive experience regarding public sector procurement processes in Germany (federal, state, and/or municipal level);

  • Client-facing roles in professional services with complex projects: IT implementation, digital or web agency, communications agency, management consulting;

  • Previous roles like Business Development Representative, Account Executive, Account Manager, Customer Success Manager;

Optional Skills

  • Understanding of Machine Learning Applications;
