We're seeking a passionate founder associate to help bring our AI-driven health tech solutions to life. As a founder associate, you'll be instrumental in every step of the journey, from validating use-cases to scaling the organization. The Merantix AI Fund is Europe‘s first and leading comprehensive, specialized AI fund! Our team builds and invests in category-defining early-stage AI-native companies, always seeking the largest exponential lever through AI as a general-purpose technology. To source and build a portfolio of 40 strong AI-native companies, the Merantix AI Fund leverages the Merantix Platform to attract and foster interactions between ideas, talent, industry, and policy at an exceptional scale. Having built 10+ AI ventures, counting more than 60 technical experts with Merantix Momentum, and being orchestrators of 100k+ people interaction on the Merantix AI Campus, Europe’s largest AI community space, form our key differentiator factors and a magnet for anyone building or investing in AI.

In order to build outstanding companies with the help of a distinguished team, state-of-the-art machine learning technology as well as a comprehensive AI company building framework, we seek exceptional entrepreneurial minds that have the ambition to make an impact. As a founders associate, you will be working side by side with an experienced founder, who already built multiple companies in this space, to ideate and validate cases in the health tech space and ultimately build the company from the ground up. Once the case is ripe for incubation, you will have the chance of joining the team full-time as one of the first hires with equity options.

• Conducting research around the market and the competitive landscape

• Ping-Ponging with expert stakeholders to validate and calibrate the idea

• Conceptualizing our vision of building “billion-dollar” companies when formulating the business model and go-to-market approach

• Building an MVP

• Identifying talent and building the initial team

• Initiating and maintaining relationships to potential investors and partners

We define ourselves by a culture of ownership and cooperation. We are looking for driven, capable, visionary, and prudent talents with proven track records of personal, academic, and professional achievement.

• You have an undergraduate degree from a top-­tier university, MA/MSc/MBA is a plus;

• You have gained professional experience in an impactful entrepreneurial environment, at a leading technology company, or in management consultancy/ venture capital;

• You have superb communication (verbal and written English; German would be a plus) and interpersonal skills and an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams;

• You have a demonstrated interest in technology and the legal industry

• You have strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize appropriately and effectively;

• You are available to work with us for a minimum of 6 months at a time.
