Autodesk is looking for a Software QA Engineer to join our Upchain team in Croatia. Our team develops, maintains, and supports components of the Autodesk Upchain, focusing on PDM/PLM solutions and services. We are looking for individuals with proactive, optimistic and relentless attitude to join our dynamic working environment. As a Software QA Engineer, you will primarily be responsible for developing and executing test cases and automated tests to ensure quality of software deliverables for our customers. Responsibilities
•
Participate in Scrum team operations, ensuring user stories are validated on time and meet acceptance criteria.
•
Translate user story and capability requirements to test plans and test cases.
•
Execute end-to-end manual workflow tests.
•
Conduct various tests, including functional, regression, system integration, performance, load, and exploratory.
•
Drive an increase automation test coverage.
•
Evaluate risk, quality, and stability of software capabilities, and propose solutions to reduce quality risks.
•
Ensure quality gates are met for software deliverables, maintaining stable environments.
Minimum Qualifications
•
Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
•
3+ years of experience as a Software Quality Assurance Engineer.
•
Experience in defining and executing validation strategies for web and cloud-based software.
•
Familiarity with test automation frameworks like TestComplete, Cypress, Selenium, BDD, Cucumber, etc.

•
Understanding of basic programming concepts and familiarity with languages such as JavaScript, Java, or TypeScript.
•
Experience with testing backend and web applications, including API testing.
•
Familiarity with performance testing tools like JMeter, BlazeMeter, etc.
•
Strong understanding of Agile processes and QA methodologies.
•
Experience with tracking and test case management tools like Jira, Confluence, Xray.
•
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Preferred Qualifications
•
Experience with version control systems, especially Git/Github.
•
Exposure to scripting in Postman and Bruno for REST API testing.
•
Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Spinnaker.
•
Experience with testing cloud infrastructure based on AWS.
