Position Overview
We are looking for undergraduates who have the talent and ambition to become skilled software engineers. During your placement with us, we will ensure that you are challenged and given every opportunity to grow your knowledge and experience with the support of an experienced Autodesk developer.
The intern will be working with the Generative Design and Simulation team in Krakow which develops CFD technology in such products as Autodesk CFD - an advanced CFD tool, Fusion Electronics Cooling - a Simulation Extension of Fusion 360, and Generative Fluids - a Fluid Path study in Generative Design Extension in Fusion 360.
The internship will be focused on improvements and development in one of those products.
The goal of the internship project is to enhance development processes and increase the quality of the code, and test automation.
Responsibilities
As part of Krakow Autodesk, you will collaborate with one of our scrum teams, usually together with 4 or 5 developers and 1 or 2 quality assurance engineers
You will be expected to work using your own initiative to develop innovative solutions to meet our customers’ demands for software that is of the highest quality, faster, more powerful, and more productive
Successful candidates will get to work on real commercial development projects mentored by experienced Autodesk developers
During your time with us you will gain experience of working on large team-based software development, learn how to write robust commercial software, and gain knowledge of the commercial development processes used at Autodesk
Minimum Qualifications
We are looking for bright Computer Science, Math, and Engineering students currently working towards a degree
Ability to communicate with English-speaking stakeholders
Knowledge of C++
