Overview:

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Accounting Manager to support our finance team. This role focuses on managing Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP), while ensuring compliance with German GAAP.

As the Junior Accounting Manager, you will help streamline daily accounting tasks, collaborate with other departments to resolve financial queries, and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment. This role is perfect for someone with initial experience in accounting who is eager to learn and grow within a dynamic company.

Your Responsibilities:

• Accounts Receivable (AR): Handle invoicing, monitor payment collections, and resolve billing discrepancies in collaboration with the Sales team.

• Accounts Payable (AP): Manage incoming invoices through Candis, process payments, and liaise with vendors to ensure timely payments.

• Maintain financial records and ensure that accounting practices align with German GAAP standards.

• Support the smooth functioning of day-to-day finance operations, including responding to customer and internal requests.

• Take over management of Candis (AP) and Circula (expense management) to optimize the handling of incoming invoices and expenses.

• Utilize Excel, Candis, Circula, and Datev Unternehmen Online for various accounting tasks such as reporting, invoicing, and payments.

Your Profile:

• Bachelor's in finance or completed Ausbilung zum Buchhalter

• Familiar with managing Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processes.

• Foundational understanding of German accounting standards.

• Strong ability to work collaboratively with teams and external stakeholders.

• Open to new challenges and eager to develop accounting skills further.

• Ability to take ownership of tasks and ensure smooth financial operations.

• Fluency in both English and German
