Overview:

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Finance Manager to support our Head of Finance in further developing the finance function within the organization. This role is critical as we prepare for growth and future funding rounds, and it will be key to refining processes across Treasury, Reporting, and ERP implementation while ensuring compliance with German GAAP and IFRS.

Your Responsibilities:

• Support Finance Function Development: Collaborate closely with the Head of Finance to develop core areas like Treasury, Rolling Forecasts, ERP implementation, and IFRS adoption.

• Help ensure that the finance function is prepared for the next funding round by refining financial processes, enhancing reporting, and advancing budgeting procedures.

• Work closely with Sales to guarantee smooth billing processes and address customer requests promptly, ensuring no late billings.

• Oversee and improve the reporting process in accordance with German GAAP and IFRS standards, taking over major parts of the reporting within the first three months.

• Contribute to the development of the Treasury function, ensuring efficient cash management practices and risk mitigation.

• Assist in rolling out a new ERP system that integrates seamlessly with existing finance and accounting processes.

Your Profile:

• Bachelor's in finance or related field

• 5+ years of experience in Finance and Controlling

• Strong understanding and practical experience with both German GAAP and IFRS standards.

• Proficient in using Excel for financial analysis, reporting, and modeling.

• Capable of taking ownership of projects and delivering results with minimal supervision.

• Demonstrates a proactive approach to problem-solving and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to liaise effectively with various departments to ensure smooth financial operations.

• Fluency in both English and German

• Excel: Core tool for financial modeling, reporting, and analysis.
